[debian-knoppix] BIOS reporting tool dmidecode
Hi,
I like to see that dmidecode https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/dmidecode/
will be added to KNOPPIX. It's the only free tools that reports some
interesting hardware information from the computer's DMI (some say
SMBIOS) table contents in a human-readable format. So it's easy to get
the information about the motherboard and the BIOS version.
It's very small <=128kb and a Debian package is also available.
