[debian-knoppix] Setting a Firewall?

Hi, i`m looking for some advice on how to set a Firewall with Knoppix or other Linux distribution that can`t be modified by hardware (as a CDROM on a CD Reader, in the way Knoppix works).

Any help is welcome.
