Re: [debian-knoppix] DOS boot image for syslinux

Hi Christian,

I just did a dd if=boot.img of=/dev/fd0. I then proceeded to boot win2k and read the files on the floppy. It is definitely DOS. I apologize to all for being alarmist but my original observations were correct. Despite this Andreas has correctly identified my clear lack of understanding with regard to MSs patents and I would like very much to read the texts of these myself but I am again "clueless" as to where to get them. Google only gave me links to the stories in the press which lead to my initial confusion.

All the best, "clueless Dan"
