[debian-knoppix] two remarks about knoppix-installer

Today I used Fabian's installer on two machines.
It nicely did the job in both case, but I noticed
two glitches I though I'd report. On one system I
wanted to recycle an existing small ext2 /boot
partition. So I wanted hda20 as / and hda7 as /boot.
Once I had gone through the dialogs, I saved the config
with the intention of editing it.
I then noticed "Quit" did not work, neither the sixth
menu entry nor the pseudo-button (I am working in text
mode). No problem I edited the saved config from tty2,
reloaded it and let the installer run to completion.
I had instructed it to install the boot record to the
linux partition and not the MBR, as I want to keep my
NT boot-loader. It correctly mounted hda7 to
/mnt/hdinstall/boot and copied the boot stuff over.
But it did *not* refer to that partition in lilo.conf.
Instead, both root and boot were pointing to hda20.
The custom partitioning scheme is clearly marked as
experimental but I suppose Fabian would rather hear
about our experiences. Thanks for his wonderful tool,
and for your attention.
