[debian-knoppix] Does knoppix run on apple computers?

I'd like to give a knoppix disk to someone running an apple computer (I'm 
guessing a mac), and I believe they are currently using OSX.

Will Knoppix be able to boot and run on this equipment?  Anyone with 
experience with this?
