[debian-knoppix] knoppix kernel

Hello Everybody,
I wanted to add the lm_sensors package and the kde frontend to my knoppix customization and i found a version of the i2c package already installed, not a sufficient version for the lm_sensors package which requires 2.7.0

well i tried to install version 2.7.0 on a hd install with a vanilla 2.4.20 kernel with the xfs and knoppix patch because i wanted to try wether the modules would work on the cd so i wouldn't have to do a custom kernel (i know it's not recommended to do it this way)

i assume that installation option 3 as described in the readme file of the i2c package was used though i'm still not sure how the header files got to /usr/include mine always went to /usr/local/include

anyway i was wondering if there is a list of additions to the kernel like that somewhere available? i wouldn't want half of my knoppix cd not working well afterwards because i didn't add something to the custom kernel (which i will very likely have to make)
or maybe you could supply us with a list what things you applied klaus?

	g'night
		Simon
