[debian-knoppix] Knoppix with LDAP login

Hi,

I want to adjust Knoppix to login via our OpenLDAP or our Novell
eDirectory.

What is the best way to do this? which changes should i apply? 

Maybe that would be a nice feature for future knoppix releases: knoppix
could ask if you want to authenticate to a directory of nt domain?
