Please try to download from one of the primary mirrors:
ftp://ftp.uni-kl.de/pub/linux/knoppix/ or
rsync://download.linuxtag.org/knoppix/

I think the image may have been corrupted on some mirrors. I'm not
sure about how this could have happened, though. The checksum on the
primary mirrors is OK.
