Definitely.

Yes. The image which was customized after user needs in step 2. Perhaps
we find a way to have a list like

         <tool1>/stable
         <browser2>/testing
         <game3>/unstable
         ...

which will be installed by a script into the KNOPPIX dir.

Yes. Debootsstrap builds just a minimal Debian system. We just have to
add (or replace something) the essential Knoppix stuff. The we end up
by a minimal Knoppix system.

Starting with this minimal Knoppix system you can just add what you want to
have on your future Knoppix CD.

The later one is what we will have by the the bootstrapped minimal Knoppix
system. Later on you might add X11 or whatever stuff you like.

We *will* have it once we found out what has to be on the minimal Knoppix
system described above. We are now working on it.

Convince Klaus, that he supports our plan and just upload a new package
which is required to build the minimum Knoppix system. :)
I hope that Klaus is convinced that this will take workload from him.

Yes. We are perfectly on the same way.

I think if you have a certain deadline we will not be ready up to this
point. But once you found out what is necessary for a minimum Knoppix
your work will be helpfull anyway.

You are not allone. When we are at exhibition boothes most people droping
in tell us the same.

Not yet - but we are working on it. The URL will be
     http://ftp.debian.org
:)

Kind regards

           Andreas.
