[debian-knoppix] ADSL Modem ECI and dabusb module

hello, i am in the staff for knoppixfr,
i code some script for ADSL connection.
and i am in relation with the developer of driver's ECI.
and i come report a request, i join his mail :
Hi Klaus,
I write you this mail to inform you about a problem with USB ADSL modems (in France) and Knoppix (v3.1).
(see http://eciadsl.flashtux.org for more detail about the linux driver).
These modems (models HiFocus and B-Focus) are detected and initialized by dabusb module. But dabusb module "crashes" the modem and our driver can't work if the modem is powered on by dabusb.
Is it possible to remove dabusb module from Knoppix, or make it optionnal (with a boot parameter for example) ?

i have make many search, and this module is load when an ECI modem is plug.
