The tools'll continue to be available, as now, for others wm. It's just a + 
for KDE users.

I don't understand the pb. 
Some tools doesn't works if they are launched with kdesu ? 
Isn't it solvable (have the tools working with kdesu) ?

Yes, the menu idea is good and for all wm, I agree !

You can integrate a konsole in KDE control center (in fact, you can integrate 
what you want). 
I'm not an expert of KDE, but I know that it's possible.
