[debian-knoppix] toshiba satelite prob: eepro100.o missing, keyboard
hm. are not all drivers installed on ISO 8/11?
the network card seems to be detected, but then insmod eepro100.o fails: file not found.
00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corp.: Unknown device 1059 (rev 10)
on the same machine, it only detects a 800x600 screen but it's 1024x768. this is easily fixed
with screen=1024x768 so not a real problem.
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Trident Microsystems CyberBlade XPAi1 (rev 82)
and there is a _very_ nasty bug in the keyboard handling. every now and then the key appears
to be pressed twice altough it isn't. "woordss lookk thenn like thhis"
i don't know what do about that but it makes writing on that machine a challenge...
