this is my first post in this mailinglist and i
hope not to violence any netiquette you may have.
I´m a student of informatic at the Technical
University of Munich and since 2 month an enthusiastic Knoppix User.
Right now im working on a instant cluster based on
the knoppix beta 2.1. The project is divided in the clustermaster with the whole
os´s for every node and the diskless nodes which are booted via dhcp, bootp and
nfs. I´m using the latest mosix version 1.52. And here is my problem and the
reasons for the post. It works only with the 2.4-13 Kernel. And my question is
whether Knoppix has any known problems with that kernel or could i downgrade the
kernelversion to 2.4-13 without any possible problems.
Maybe anybody could help me out?
I would appreciate any comments to this
post?
