Bug#1116030: linux-image-6.12.48+deb13-amd64: grub not reached on reboot from trixie's kernel. Works with bookworm's kernel and from a cold start

I've also tried linux-image-6.9-amd64 6.9.2-1~exp1 snapshot

It also fails.

So regression was introduced somewhere in between 6.8.12 and 6.9.2

I've tried to install the same kernel from debian snapshots that the original reporter, and I'm pretty sure this is the same bug:

As in his case, the last kernel to reboot ok is 6.8.12+1

The first kernel to fail is 6.9.7+1

It seems the bug was closed but not solved.
