Package: src
Version: 3.2.21-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

i think this freeze could be caused by heavy traffic load (via a torrent
transmission-gtk was downloading)

the only running programs were: X (via startx) , openbox, transmission-gtk and
evince.

Computer was completely unusable and i had to hard-reboot it via powerbutton
(also AltGr+Print+o was useless)

this problem also led to an "Xorg Tainted" error , as i reported in bug
#683262 ( http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=683262 ).
The bug report #683262 contains the full sequence of syslog errors.

At the bottom of this report i included the log of the WARNING.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
