Package: src:linux
Version: 4.2.3-2
Severity: normal

Running the Tails test suite[0] (which involves starting virtual machines
using KVM) my system is oopsing. The screen locks up when the kernel
oopses. The system itself is not locked since I can log in remotely.

I can reliably reproduce this problem when booting a KVM virtual machine
in UEFI mode. During this portion of the Tails test suite the following
will be logged:

[22307.737550] ---[ end trace 2dedd0772f0a3df2 ]---

As mentioned earlier, the oops can be consistently triggered. I have been able to
reproduce this bug with the Debian package I'm filing this bug against as well
as self-compiled kernels of 4.2, 4.2.3, and 4.2.4. After many runs and
reboots I've managed to hit the oops every single time.

After many, many tries, I *cannot* reproduce the oops with a self-compiled 4.1.11 (git revision
205a851).

Please let me know if I can provide more information or when there are
patches that you'd like me to try.
