Dear Maintainer,

After some time of normal work the cursor become garbage and then kernel panics
and freeze all the system
I can't copy all the message, but a bit of it:

drm_kms_helper panic occured switching to console
nouveau [DRM] 0x14C5 parsing digital output script table

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports
