Package: Linux

I installed Debian 7.1 on a Samsung NP535U3C-A04SE. Installation asks
for firmwares and I downloaded them
(http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/firmware/stable/20130616/firmware.tar.gz)
and put them on a USB-disk for loading. This goes fine.

Installation doesn't complain, but when restarting I got error messages
saying there are firmware bugs.

First time Gnome is loaded it says it has started in a fallback mode,
since some errors occurred. It doesn't say what.

I attach: dpkg.log, syslog, Xorg.log

Attachment: dpkg.log.tar.gz

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
