Bug#955004: linux-image-5.4.0-4-amd64: Missing module CONFIG_I2C_AMD_MP2 for some touchpads/touchscreens
Package: src:linux
Version: 5.4.19-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Problem :
The problem was that my Lenovo Ideapad 530s touchpad's wasn't recognized (not
listed in /proc/bus/input/devices and not recognized by gnome).
Resolution :
I compiled a 5.4.19 kernel with the same configuration as the debian one's but
i just added CONFIG_I2C_AMD_MP2=y and it worked.
So the fix will be to include CONFIG_I2C_AMD_MP2 in the kernel build.
Thanks :)
