Bug#927286: firmware-amd-graphics: amdgpu firmware for Buster reports warning
Package: firmware-amd-graphics
Version: 20190114-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
During my daily full-upgrade today, I got a pile of messages similar to
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/amdgpu/vega20_me.bin for module amdgpu
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
I determined that my older graphics card (ASUS HD 7850) almost certainly doesn't use this
firmware so its absence is not a problem.
* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?
