Bug#841883: linux-image-4.7.0-1-686: cannot boot with 4.7.8-1, stuck at loading initrd

And indeed they became available, while I was striving to find the time
to test version 4.8.5-1: here's the outcome, I installed the new linux
image from unstable (aptitude -t unstable install linux-image-686) and
rebooted.

I can confirm that version 4.8.5-1 works correctly. 
So, as far as I am *personally* concerned, this bug may be closed as
fixed in version 4.8.5-1 and/or forcemerged with #841850.
