Bug#841275: linux: Logitech Unifying Receiver shows devices that aren't connected

The fact that the device isn't connected to the PC should make it obvious that it shouldn't show up in the list of connected devices. Perhaps the bug is not in the kernel but in the applet, though, if it had enough information to filter those devices.

Dear Maintainer,

I have a PC with a mouse connected by a Logitech Unifying Receiver,
and
an Android TV box with a keyboard connected by a separate Unifying
Receiver. The keyboard shows up on the Linux box with a message in
dmesg:
[...]

What makes you think this is a bug in the kernel, rather than a bug or
quirk in the hardware?

Ben.
