Bug#792621: virtio: Debian 8 as qemu-kvm guest installation fails on random step with vritio drivers.

Package: src:linux
Version: 3.16.7-ckt11-1
Severity: normal
File: virtio

Dear Maintainer,

It was typical Debian installation from netinstatl and DVD-s iso files as guest OS for qemu with
GlusterFS replicated and distributed volumes as storage backend. As VE we use Proxmox, versions go below:

	proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 3.4-157 (running kernel: 2.6.32-39-pve)
	qemu-server: 3.4-6
	pve-qemu-kvm: 2.2-10
	glusterfs-client: 3.6.4-1
	GlsuterFS server is also 3.6.4

We ended up with aborted installation on random step, typically on chosing network mirror on unpacking
some packages. Or, if installation completed, we had an unusable syste, sometimes with RO FS.
 Screens are here: https://romanr.eu/owncloud/index.php/s/76Mf3Z1rIbvDgIO

To resolve this issue, wr've tried to set different caching types - was not effective. Than selected another driver
for disk controller (not virtio, but sata) and we've managed to install and boot a normal system.

Until we've changed the driver, i was not able to install the D8, as it aborted on random step

What outcome did you expect instead?
	Working D8 installation

The current information includes data about VM that was installed on local disks, not GlusterFS storage, so you will find
virtio drivers for disk listed below. Please contact me if you have some questions, I will be happy to answer, as we are
interested in getting D8 working with virtio drivers on glusterfs storage.
