Hello Ben,

I've just looked at the debian kernel repository and have seen
that the patch is in the master (kernel 4.3) branch, but not in
the sid (kernel 4.2) branch.  The problem exists already in
kernel 4.2 - could you apply the patch to the sid branch as well?
