Dear Maintainers,

There is a fairly trivially fixed, but ignored bug report here (since July):

It is a request to enable the config options MOUSE_ELAN_I2C, MOUSE_ELAN_I2C_I2C and
MOUSE_ELAN_I2C_SMBUS.

This is a driver for the touchpad in some Acer laptops (and maybe others). It would be nice to add this to older kernel versions as well and to backport it, since the touchpad has been around for some time.

And even if it was, that's no reason to send a new bug report.
