Package: firmware-realtek Version: 0.43 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I noticed an issue in the "linux-firmware-nonfree" package which fails to install the required drivers for "update-initramfs -u" procedure. The solutions which I was searching on the forums, explained that "linux-firmware-nonfree" or "firmware-realtek" should fix the issue, however both of these packages seem to be lacking in "jessie". The warning which I get is (I must mention that the kernel is a custom kernel): # aptitude install firmware-linux-nonfree The following NEW packages will be installed: firmware-linux-nonfree 0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 1,386 kB of archives. After unpacking 5,128 kB will be used.
