FYI - your response arrived as some sort of strange attachment; not sure why!

Anyway, thanks for the response. Do you know where I can browse the source code actually being used for Raspbian? I've taken a quick spin around Raspbian.org but nothing jumped out at me. Apologies if it's obvious to you as I'm not used to wandering around the Linux world.

And I also current in assuming that there is no fundamental reason why rc-core could not be compiled and run on the Raspbian release, they've simply chosen not to at this time?
