Package: src:linux Version: 3.2.35-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I have got the following message at various points: E: linux- image-3.2.0-4-amd64: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 E: initramfs-tools: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 I am running wheezy, installed from the liveCD, on a samsung RV520 laptop. It happens mostly when trying to do stuff using apt/apt-get/synaptic etc. It seems to sometimes stop it happening, although I'm not sure what it stops happening. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 3.2.0-4-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Debian 4.6.3-14) ) #1 SMP Debian 3.2.35-2 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-amd64 root=UUID=5b179def-c2ca-4294-a4cd-c7cfaa3899a2 ro quiet ** Tainted: O (4096) * Out-of-tree module has been loaded. ** Kernel log: [ 791.020482] usb 1-1.4: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 791.112142] ata2: SATA link up 1.5 Gbps (SStatus 113 SControl 300) [ 791.118915] ata2.00: configured for UDMA/100 [ 791.120107] ata5: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300) [ 791.128249] ata4: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300) [ 793.397632] ata1: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) [ 793.409988] ata1.00: configured for UDMA/133 [ 793.452329] PM: resume of devices complete after 2685.407 msecs [ 793.452406] PM: Finishing wakeup.
