Bug#693392: linux-image-3.2.0-3-powerpc64: promise_sata with PDC20376 fails to detect WD 2TB "Green" disks on G5 Mac

Hi Ben,

The error was evident in both kernels - I upgraded and it was still there.

The sata_svw has an ST3750640AS and WDC WD20EARS-00M attached. The promise card has a WDC WD20EARS-00M attached.

Drives working with the promise card were Seagate ST3250820AS and WD2500JS-40NGB2.

/var/log/dmesg with NODEV message ([3.75..]) attached.

Attachment: dmesg
Description: Binary data

Regards,

Leigh Anthony
