Bug#693734: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64: keyboards don't work with USB 3.0

Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.32-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
Like many others, I'm having trouble with USB 3.0. Since the problems render the keyboards completely
inoperative all the time, this is potentially quite serious. Fortunately I have USB 2.0 ports and SSH, and
so am able to get work done.

Many of the USB 3.0 reports on Debian and the net are of intermittent problems with, e.g., mass storage devices.
In contrast I always experience this problem.

This is a new, Ivy bridge system with an Intel DH77DF motherboard and i3-2225 CPU, running diskless. Other connections are HDMI
and wired LAN. Installed a minimal squeeze system and then upgraded to testing.

There are other oddities, such as no login prompts, or anything else, displaying on the virtual screens, and no access to
sound.

   * What led up to the situation? Attempt to use a keyboard, either MS Keyboard with USB cable or
	logitech wireless (k400, includes touchpad).
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)? Tried booting the older, 2.6.32-5, kernel. No help. Tried using wireless keyboard
on Windows laptop to verify the batteries worked (and also in case it needed to do some pairing). Worked fine.
Tried reinserting USB connector when system was up. No help.
Plugged USB cable into USB 2.0 port on this machine with this kernel; worked fine. Haven't tried
the wireless keyboard and USB 2.0.
   * What was the outcome of this action? Works with USB 2.0 ports, not with 3.0.
   * What outcome did you expect instead? Just works.

Here are some logs from earlier attempts with the keyboards plugged into the USB 3.0 ports; I think the relevant
stuff is at the end, but included more in case it's relevant.
