Package: lirc Version: 0.9.0~pre1-1 Severity: normal Everytime a new version of lirc comes out I have to recompile it and reinstall because it does not include for the Iguanaworks USB IR Transceiver. All that is required for lirc to support this device is for the file /usr/include/iguanaIR.h to exist at compile time. This file says "Distributed under the LGPL version 2.1." Please include the Iguanaworks USB IR Transceiver. http://iguanaworks.net/ PS I'm very confused about why apt says "APT prefers oldstable" below. I want to use unstable. Why does it says that I prefer oldunstable I don't know. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages lirc depends on: ii iguanair 1.0pre2 This is the IguanaWorks USB IR dae ii libasound2 1.0.23-2.1 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii libc6 2.11.2-13 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libftdi1 0.18-1 Library to control and program the ii liblircclient0 0.9.0~pre1-1 infra-red remote control support - ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-17 userspace USB programming library ii lsb-base 3.2-27 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip lirc recommends no packages.
