Package: lirc
Version: 0.8.3-3
Severity: wishlist

Please include support for the Iguana USB IR Transceiver. This transceiver does not require a kernel
module or modifications and its open source user-space driver was written for Linux.

Adding support for the Iguana Transceiver just requires having the iguanaIR include file (/usr/include/iguanaIR.h) when the current
lirc code is compiled. This include file is distributed under the GPL version 2 and so could perhaps just be distributed with the
lirc source. This include file is available here http://iguanaworks.net/downloads.php

There is a discussion on this question regarding Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lirc/+bug/153457
