Package: lirc Version: 0.8.3-3 Severity: wishlist Please include support for the Iguana USB IR Transceiver. This transceiver does not require a kernel module or modifications and its open source user-space driver was written for Linux. Adding support for the Iguana Transceiver just requires having the iguanaIR include file (/usr/include/iguanaIR.h) when the current lirc code is compiled. This include file is distributed under the GPL version 2 and so could perhaps just be distributed with the lirc source. This include file is available here http://iguanaworks.net/downloads.php There is a discussion on this question regarding Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lirc/+bug/153457 -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.28-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages lirc depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.26 Debian configuration management sy ii libasound2 1.0.19-1 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii libc6 2.9-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii liblircclient0 0.8.3-3 infra-red remote control support - ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-13 userspace USB programming library lirc recommends no packages.
