Package: sane-utils
Version: 1.0.21-9
Severity: important
Since I've updated my server on Debian Squeeze, my scanner Fujitsu fi-4340C stopped to work. I've tried to run with Debug option, and I get the following error when I use scanimage :
[fujitsu] sane_open: start
[fujitsu] sane_open: searching currently attached scanners
[fujitsu] sane_open: device libusb:001:008 requested
[fujitsu] sane_open: device libusb:001:008 found
[fujitsu] connect_fd: start
[fujitsu] connect_fd: opening USB device
[sanei_usb] sanei_usb_open: trying to open device `libusb:001:008'
USB error: could not set config 1: Connection timed out
[sanei_usb] sanei_usb_open: libusb complained: could not set config 1: Connection timed out
[fujitsu] connect_fd: could not open device: 4
[fujitsu] connect_fd: finish
scanimage: open of device fujitsu:libusb:001:008 failed: Invalid argument
[fujitsu] sane_exit: start
[fujitsu] disconnect_fd: start
[fujitsu] disconnect_fd: finish
[fujitsu] sane_exit: finish
The scan worked perfectly before with lenny, I've also tried to compile manually version 1.0.22 from debian unstable, compilation was a success, but scanimage give the same error.
Thanks all for your help.
Olivier.
