Right, don't worry about it if it's inconvenient (I was thinking of my
roommate's computer which has two monitors and more screen real estate
than he knows what to do with).

My mistake.  linux-base and initramfs-tools are not in experimental.
I should have said to also add squeeze-backports to sources.list, so
you can do

	apt-get -t squeeze-backports install linux-base initramfs-tools
	apt-get -t experimental install linux-image-3.1.0-1-amd64
