Bug#600305: needs to be reopen

You are right dann!
What a pleasure to run debian... and squeeze has so much improvement regarding lenny. You can finally close this bug, sorry to make you reopen it. I was impatient.
Thank you for your great help.

Dear Ben and Dann,

It seems we have to reopen this bug. I downloaded today's squeeze
netinstall with the last update of kernel 2.6.32-26, burned and boot
it through rEFIt.

The ata detection fails to find /dev/cdrom as previously:
ata1: COMRESET failed (errno=-16)
Then debian installer ask to provide the proper ata driver.

Is it necessary to call a specific option before starting debian
installer?
I took a look at the changelog for linux-kernel-di-amd64-2.6:
   http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/l/linux-kernel-di-amd64-2.6/current/changelog

Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like the latest build on the day you
sent this message was based upon 2.6.32-25? It has since been updated
to include 2.6.32-27 - could you try that one?
