Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64
Version: 2.6.26-4
Severity: normal

After upgrading from Etch, suspension to disk stopped from powering off
the system.
I tried invoking the suspension to disk with these 3 methods:
hibernate (from the hibernate package)
s2disk (from the uswsusp package)
echo disk > /sys/power/state

All three methods work as expected, but neither shuts power down.
The computer halts, power is removed from disks, the screen goes
off, etc., but the system power suply remains on.
It ends powering off if I hold the power button for 4 seconds.
Then resuming works more or less as expected (save for another
regression when the nvidia proprietary module is loaded, which
is a separate bug).

Suspending to disk and resuming used to work very well with Linux
2.6.18 in Etch.
Shutting down the system with "halt" or "reboot" also works fine.

The reason I think this is a bug in Linux is that a plain
echo disk > /sys/power/state exhibits the problem.
