Here starts the big problem, where does RealTek offer that firmware (and not random 3rd parties) and where the license for that firmware images? When I looked for a matching firmware (what led me to #579694), I couldn't find rtl8192su_linux_2.6.0002.0708.2009.tar.gz from any official source, and those obtainable from shady sources didn't include any license for the firmware.
