Bug#567098: linux-image-2.6.26-2-ixp4xx: adm8511/pegasus usb ethernet device loses mac on nslu2 when cold-plugged

I tried one other experiment, plugging the pegasus adapter in at various
points in the NSLU2's boot sequence, to see whether the bootloaders might be
affecting the device. Based on http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/boot.html ,
the MAC came up zeroed out if the device was plugged in anywhere prior to the
the "Disk becomes solid green" point (at which point "/dev is being populated
and USB has been loaded.") Plugged in at that point or later in the sequence,
it came up with its usual MAC.
