If you are willing to rebuild the kernel, please check out <svn://svn.debian.org/wsvn/kernel/dists/lenny/linux-2.6/> and follow the instructions at <http://kernel-handbook.alioth.debian.org/ch-common-tasks.html#s-common-official> (aside from running apt-get source!).
