As I said in the report, I personally tried to understand whether
CVE-2009-1758 is already fixed in linux-2.6/2.6.30-1, but I was not able
to determine that by myself.

That's why I asked the experts (you!).

Similarly to bug #536147, I wanted to get confirmation that everything
is fine (and get the security tracker updated) or otherwise make sure
no regression is introduced in testing.

This bug has been closed in the meanwhile.
I am glad I got confirmation that linux-2.6/2.6.30-1 is fixed.
Again, thanks to all the people involved in dealing with this bug
