Bug#562008: linux-image-2.6-amd64: rtc wakeup timer on EFI doesn't wake machine
Package: linux-image-2.6-amd64
Version: 2.6.32+23
Severity: normal
Hello,
I'm trying to get vdr setup, and want to use a wakeup timer to wake the
machine whenever a recording is due.
Unfortunatly, this doesn't seem to work properly on my macbook:
macbook:/sys/class/rtc/rtc0# cat wakealarm
macbook:/sys/class/rtc/rtc0# echo $((`cat since_epoch` + 300)) > wakealarm
macbook:/sys/class/rtc/rtc0# cat wakealarm

Alas, wakeup never happens.
