Bug#558265: Warns about firmware that is not needed
Package: linux-2.6
I got the following message when upgrading the kernel about a firmware
that might be missing. On this particular, the firmware is not needed
because it doesn't have a l8168 chip.
Could this firmware warning be smarter, e.g. by looking at the actual
chip and only showing the warning when the firmware is necessary?
