Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-sparc64
Version: 2.6.24-5

the command "ebtables -L"
error : The kernel doesn't support the ebtables 'filter' table.

the correct answer would be :
Bridge table: filter
Bridge chain: INPUT, entries: 0, policy: ACCEPT
Bridge chain: FORWARD, entries: 0, policy: ACCEPT
Bridge chain: OUTPUT, entries: 0, policy: ACCEPT

I went on IRC to try to find some help.
People the helped me recompile the ebtables 2.0.8.2 package to make it run and said me to declare this bug about the kernel.

this error appends with different versions of the kernel, tried 2.6.18, 2.6.22 and 2.6.24 stock kernels from the sid repository.

I'm using Debian SID, kernel 2.6.24-1-sparc64, libc-2.7.so, ebtables 2.0.8.2
