Bug#520702: Restarting Xen domU including seized Eth: disk & eth stops working
Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686
Version: 2.6.26-13
Severity: important
My domU with PCI Eth "imported" cannot be restarted neither via
reboot inside the domU nor via xm reboot/destroy. The system stops
working/answering for IO. An example:
<------------------------------------------------------------->
ROOT@nBoromiXen: ~ # reboot
Broadcast message from root@nBoromiXen (hvc0) (Sat Mar 21 15:15:12 2009):
The system is going down for reboot NOW!
INIT: Switching to runlevel: 6

Asking all remaining processes to terminate...done.
All processes ended within 1 seconds....done.
Deconfiguring network interfaces...Removed VLAN -:vlan103:-
done.
Cleaning up ifupdown....

... and... nothing...
<------------------------------------------------------------->
The first console log:
mptscsih: ioc0: Issue of TaskMgmt failed!
And something about "entering recovery" :(
Filesystems go down due to this: filesystem dm-XXX not responding.
I can't halt the system:
INIT: cannot execute "/sbin/shutdown"
