Bug#514247: xen-Kernel doen't boot on DELL Poweredge 4600

Package: linux-image-xen-686
Version: 2.6.26+17

I tried to install a xen environment with Lenny on a DELL Poweredge 4600
Server. The default kernel works fine on that machine.

I installed the following components:

# dpkg -l | grep xen
ii libc6-xen 2.7-16 GNU C
Library: Shared libraries [Xen version]
ii libxenstore3.0 3.2.1-2 Xenstore
communications library for Xen
ii linux-image-2.6-xen-686 2.6.26+17 Linux 2.6
image on i686, oldstyle Xen support
ii linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686 2.6.26-12 Linux
2.6.26 image on i686, oldstyle Xen support
ii linux-image-xen-686 2.6.26+17 Linux
image on i686, oldstyle Xen support
ii linux-modules-2.6-xen-686 2.6.26+17 Linux 2.6
modules on i686
ii linux-modules-2.6.26-1-xen-686 2.6.26-12 Linux
2.6.26 modules on i686
ii xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-i386 3.2.1-2 The Xen
Hypervisor on i386
ii xen-linux-system-2.6.26-1-xen-686 2.6.26-12 XEN
system with Linux 2.6.26 image on i686
ii xen-shell 1.8-3 Console
based Xen administration utility
ii xen-tools 3.9-4 Tools to
manage Debian XEN virtual servers
ii xen-utils-3.2-1 3.2.1-2 XEN
administrative tools
ii xen-utils-common 3.2.0-2 XEN
administrative tools - common files
ii xenstore-utils 3.2.1-2 Xenstore
utilities for Xen

With that, I have a grub-extry "Xen 3.2-1-i386 / Debian
GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.26-1-xen-686". Chosing that one lets the system
boot (I guess it's only the initrd) up to a stage where it puts out
millions of errors:

aac_srb: aac_fib_send failed with status: 8195

I find this bug to be release-critical because virtualization is
state-of-the-art usage of Debian on server machines and the machine
itself is not exotic good-state hardware.
