I have a `RAID bus controller [0104]: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6421 IDE RAID
Controller [1106:3249] (rev 50)' with one IDE controller onboard.

When I try to mount/umount a partition on an IDE drive (I tried one IBM and
one Seagate), the following appears in kern.log (more of output is included
by reportbug):

Now, it could be just controller or hard drive failure, but I did the following tests:
1. An IDE DVD drive connected to the same controller works OK.
2. The same IDE drive connected to the same controller works OK in Windows
XP.

My kernel is tainted by nvidia driver, however, before reproducing the errors
I did `rmmod nvidia', so it shouldn't have interfered.
