When booting kernel 2.6.25-7 on my EeePC 701 about 50% of the time the machine will hang at the "setting clock" stage. This sounds similar to the problem described here and in #479709. Also when I try to boot kernel 2.6.26-3 the machine will abruptly power-down shortly after I enter the password for the LUKS /home filesystem.
