Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-amd64
Version: 2.6.24-1
Severity: important

Since linux 2.6.24 introduced a sysfs interface for ACPI power
information, you have removed the interface that used to be in /proc
(controlled by CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER). This breaks many battery
monitors in Debian, because nobody's rewritten their battery monitor
to use the /sys interface yet. Please resurrect the /proc interface.
