something recently got broken for 2.6.22

Hi,

I suspect something recently (in the past 2 weeks) has gone broken for
2.6.22 kernels.

None of my 2.6.22 kernels boot anymore.

The kernel fails at:

maybe_break mount
log_begin_msg "Mounting root file system..."
. /scripts/${BOOT}
parse_numeric ${ROOT}
mountroot
log_end_msg


with an error message that the root device is busy.

All my 2.6.21 kernel are booting properly but not the 2.6.22 ones.
