Please could you include BadRAM patch ?  I missed it *a lot* when my RAM blew
up and I couldn't boot the system from disk or d-i CD because they all hang. :)

the patch is quite invasive and thus can't be applied
due to maintance nightmare.

as already mentioned by dannf, get it accepted upstream first:
